Privacy notice

This comprehensive privacy notice is issued in accordance with Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares) and its applicable regulations. If you live outside Mexico, please also read the section Rights depending on where you live, at the end.

Data controller

The party responsible for the processing of your personal data is Lavoig.net, a Lavoig.net Enterprises platform, which operates the Lavoig.net platform at lavoig.net, with its address in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. For any matter related to your personal data you can write to us at support@lavoig.net.

Data we collect

We collect the data you provide to us directly:

• identification and contact data: name, email, phone or WhatsApp number and, where applicable, company and position;
• what you write in our contact, suggestions, feedback and testimonial forms, and in your conversations with our team or, if the platform offers one, with an artificial intelligence assistant;
• if you subscribe to the newsletter: your email, the text of the box you ticked and the dates on which you requested and confirmed the subscription;
• the data needed to quote, deliver and collect payment: delivery address and details of the purchase or service;
• tax data, if you request an invoice: RFC (Mexican taxpayer ID), name or company name, tax regime, postal code and the intended use of the CFDI (Mexican electronic tax invoice);
• payment data: reference and receipt of the transaction. Card data is processed directly by our payment processor; Lavoig.net does not store your full card number or its security code;
• if you write to us on WhatsApp: your number, your profile name and the content of the messages.

We also collect data automatically when you browse: the page visited, the page you came from, the type of device and browser, the language, the approximate country, the date and the time. To count visits we do not store anything in your browser: on our server we compute an encrypted hash of your IP address, your browser and your language with a key that changes every day and is deleted after 48 hours: we do not store your IP address for measurement and we cannot recognize you from one day to the next. That hash is pseudonymized data that we only use for aggregate statistics. The server's technical logs keep the IP address for up to 30 days for security.

We do not ask you for sensitive personal data and we ask you not to send it to us. The platform is not directed at minors: to buy or contract you must be of legal age. If you are a minor, do not send us personal data.

Primary purposes

We use your data for these purposes, which are necessary for your relationship with us:

• responding to your questions and requests through any of our channels;
• preparing quotes and proposals, and confirming orders and engagements;
• processing and verifying payments, and preventing fraud;
• delivering products or providing services, and following up on them;
• issuing electronic invoices and complying with tax and legal obligations;
• handling warranties, returns, refunds, clarifications and complaints;
• maintaining the security and operation of the platform.

Secondary purposes

In addition, unless you object, we use your data to:

• send you the Lavoig.net newsletter, only if you requested it by ticking the box and confirmed your email; every mailing includes the link to unsubscribe;
• ask for your opinion about our service and conduct satisfaction surveys;
• produce aggregate visit statistics and improve the platform and our processes.

We publish testimonials only with your express consent. If you do not want your data to be used for any secondary purpose, write to us at support@lavoig.net with the subject "Secondary purposes". Your refusal will not affect the products or services you contract.

Artificial intelligence

Our team uses artificial intelligence tools to prepare texts, translations and drafts of quotes or proposals; to do so, these tools may process what you wrote to us. A person reviews everything we send you and decides what affects you, such as prices and orders: we do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing. If the platform offers you a chat with an artificial intelligence assistant, it identifies itself as such before you type.

The artificial intelligence models we use are from Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI, which act as processors on our behalf and under our instructions and, according to their commercial terms, do not use that data to train their models. The details are on the Use of artificial intelligence page.

Disclosures to processors and transfers

To fulfill the purposes above, we share data with providers that process it on our behalf as processors: cloud hosting and email (Amazon Web Services, in the United States); messaging (WhatsApp, by Meta); artificial intelligence (Anthropic and OpenAI, in the United States); payment processing; parcel and freight carriers; and authorized CFDI certification providers.

In addition, we may transfer your data without requiring your consent, in the cases permitted by law, to:

• companies of the Lavoig.net Enterprises group that operate under the same internal processes and policies, for the same purposes (if you live in the European Union, the European Economic Area, Switzerland or the United Kingdom, only with a valid legal basis for it);
• competent authorities, when required by law or to comply with a duly grounded request;
• third parties, when necessary for the performance of the legal relationship we have with you or for the recognition, exercise or defense of a right.

We do not sell your personal data. If in the future we needed to make a transfer that requires your consent, we will ask you for it beforehand.

ARCO rights

You have the right to know what data we hold and how we use it (access), to ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate or incomplete (rectification), to have it deleted when it is no longer necessary (cancellation) and to object to its use for specific purposes (opposition).

To exercise these rights, send a request to support@lavoig.net that includes:

• your name and the means by which we should send you our response;
• a copy of your official ID or, if you act on behalf of another person, the document proving that you represent them;
• a clear description of the data and of the right you want to exercise;
• any document that helps locate your data and, if you request a rectification, the correction and the document that supports it.

We will respond within the time limits set by law, informing you whether your request is granted, and we will give effect to it where applicable. Exercising these rights is free of charge; only the shipping or reproduction costs permitted by law may be charged.

Withdrawal of consent and limits on use

You can withdraw your consent or ask us to limit the use or disclosure of your data by sending a request to support@lavoig.net, following the procedure above. Withdrawal does not have retroactive effect, and we may need to keep some data to comply with legal obligations, for example tax obligations. You can also unsubscribe from our promotional messages at any time and register in the Public Registry to Avoid Advertising (Registro Público para Evitar Publicidad) of the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (Procuraduría Federal del Consumidor, PROFECO).

Cookies

On public pages we use only one cookie, and only if you ask for it: the one that remembers that you chose the light or dark theme. We do not use measurement, advertising or third-party cookies: visits are counted without storing anything in your browser. The country and the language are indicated in the page address, not in a cookie. The details are in our Cookie policy.

Security and retention

We apply administrative, technical and physical security measures to protect your data against damage, loss, alteration, destruction or unauthorized use, access or processing. We keep your data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described and for the periods required by tax and commercial laws; after that, we block and then delete it. Specifically:

• visit statistics and WhatsApp click statistics are deleted automatically after 25 months;
• the daily key used to hash your visit is deleted after 48 hours;
• your newsletter subscription is kept until you unsubscribe; after that, we keep only the record of your consent and of your unsubscription;
• messages, quotes and orders are kept for as long as the relationship lasts and, after that, for the statutory limitation periods;
• tax information is kept for five years, as required by the Federal Tax Code (Código Fiscal de la Federación).

Changes to this notice

We may amend this notice due to changes in the law, in our services or in our practices. We will publish the current version at lavoig.net, on the Privacy notice page, with its update date.

If you believe that your right to the protection of your personal data has been violated, you can turn to the Ministry of Anti-Corruption and Good Governance (Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno), the authority for personal data held by private parties since 2025, or to whichever authority replaces it.

Rights depending on where you live

Lavoig.net is offered in several countries. If you live outside Mexico, the following also applies to you.

European Union, European Economic Area, Switzerland and United Kingdom

This includes Martinique and Saint-Martin, which are European Union territory. We process your data on these legal bases: performance of the contract or of the pre-contractual steps you request (quoting, selling, delivering, assisting); compliance with legal obligations (tax and accounting); our legitimate interest in keeping the platform secure and in measuring its visits in aggregate and without cookies; and your consent, for the newsletter and for publishing your testimonial, which you can withdraw at any time.

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection, the right to withdraw your consent and the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing. Exercise these rights by writing to support@lavoig.net; we will respond within one month at the latest. You can also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country.

Your data is processed in Mexico and in the United States. When it leaves the European Economic Area, Switzerland or the United Kingdom, it does so with the safeguards required by law, such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or our providers' certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. You can ask us for a copy of those safeguards at support@lavoig.net.

Representative in the European Union and in the United Kingdom: in the process of being appointed. In the meantime, any request is handled at support@lavoig.net.

Brazil

Under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados, LGPD), you have the right to confirm whether we process your data, to access it, to correct it, to anonymize, block or delete it, to portability, to know with whom we share it, to revoke your consent and to request a review of automated decisions. Write to us at support@lavoig.net; you can also turn to the National Data Protection Authority (Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados, ANPD).

United States

We do not sell your personal data or share it for advertising based on your behavior on other sites, and we do not use advertising cookies or pixels. If you live in a state with a consumer privacy law, such as California, you can ask us to tell you what data we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it by writing to support@lavoig.net, without this changing how we treat you. If our platforms offer you an automated chat, it identifies itself as such before you type.

Canada

If you live in Quebec or in another province, you can ask us for access to your data and for its correction, and to know what information we use for any decision about you; we do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

Other countries

If you live in another country with a data protection law, such as Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, South Korea, Japan, India, Singapore or Australia, we recognize the rights that law grants you. Write to us at support@lavoig.net and we will respond within the period it sets.
