The electronic commerce revolution in Mexico

Specialists say that Mexico is becoming the epicenter of online commerce in LATAM, because it is an extremely large market, and also thanks to the digital acceleration on the part of consumers, which has generated an evolution in the different industry verticals, from logistics to payment methods.

In Mexico, convenience stores on every corner have become aware of establishing e-commerce strategies to not only increase their sales but also adapt according to trends and processes.

On the other hand, according to the Mexican Association of Online Sales (AMVO), Mexico was the country with the highest growth in online sales for retail in the world during 2021 with 27%. Mexican consumers became more aware of the possibilities they had in the digital channel, and users have used the virtual experience to make inquiries, validate products and make purchases.
